Question #1: How is the work environment different in the public vs private sector?
Private Sector: You have more control, job creation, less limiting but also can be less secure. Can also help give people experience, in different fields.
Public Sector: Definitely provides more security and stability which is important. Benefits are also a good bonus when working in public sector. Also can help people network, gives experience in fields before branching out on ones own.
Question #2: Changing behaviours is not an easy process. What resistance do you think marketers face when trying to change behaviour?
Changing behaviours is of course a very tricky process. We as consumers and as humans do not always adjust well to change. The idea of change often gets us to put our guard up, so in marketing terms it takes either a great idea, or campaign often get people to change the products or what they have been doing in the past. Also some concepts may require knowledge/ understandings that some people may not have ie. older people are not always as efficient with technology the the younger generation. So marketing teams have to take in and learn how to best appeal to that demographic
